Thanks to all the 4,400 people who visited with us at House #4 by CD Construction/Gardner Group over the past two weekends in The Colony for Park City Area Showcase of Homes.  This will be the last time The Colony will host a Showcase Home, so what a beautiful treat for those who made the trip.

By far the most commented on feature was how the home created a feeling of bringing the outdoors into the home through the use and placement of doors and windows. In fact, there is a name for the phenomenon whereby we all feel good when we feel connected to the outdoors, Biophilia. There is even an emerging architectural discipline Biophilic Design. The next most commented on feature was the Kitchen, in particular the clean lines of the Mountain Ash cabinets. The third most commented on feature was the angled mirror in the Master.
